 Linda Kardoff was influenced by the many artists in her family and has been compelled to draw since childhood. She attended The American Academy of Art in Chicago and exhibited widely in the Chicago area. She was with the Peace Corps in Mombasa, Kenya, where she volunteered at a home for the disabled, painting murals and teaching elementary school art . She now resides in San Diego , where she has had five featured person shows, and has won many top awards . She has been included in in numerous exhibitions, including THE NOEL BAZA GALLERY with THE SAN DIEGO HISTORICAL SOCIETY’S ‘‘ THEN and NOW’’ EXHIBIT in BALBOA PARK S.D. CA. THE OCEANSIDE MUSEUM OF ART, CA. WILLIAM D WRIGHT GALLERY, Carlsbad CA. Juror’s choice Award and featured artist ORANGE COUNTY CENTER for the ARTS CA.
